In June New Zealand was pleased to be accepted as an Observer to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). Ahead of our first meeting as Observers expected later this year, Aotearoa New Zealand is now pleased to announce the appointment of our delegation:
- H.E. Andrew Jenks, Ambassador to Sweden, Head of Delegation
- Deborah Hart, Expert Delegate
- Shoshana Maasland, Expert Delegate
- Dame Lesley Max, Expert Delegate
- Paul Moon, Expert Delegate
- David Zwartz ONZM, Expert Delegate
Aotearoa New Zealand’s Ambassador to Sweden, H.E. Andrew Jenks, leads the delegation while Sweden is the Chair. The five expert delegates were selected for their demonstrated history of expertise and action relevant to Holocaust research, education and remembrance.
