On 19 May 2020, Defence Ministers Taro Kono and Hon. Ron Mark held a video conference to discuss a range of issues and exchange views on their countries’ responses to COVID-19.
The Ministers last met in person in Thailand in 2019. Minister Mark emphasised that “staying in contact during this time is more important than ever”.
