Passports


The Department of Internal Affairs Identity Services Office in London - often referred to as the London Passport Office is responsible for the issuing and renewals of New Zealand Passports in Ireland. The New Zealand Embassy in Dublin has no involvement with issuing New Zealand passports.

Counter hours: the London office is open by appointment only.

You must have suitable identification with you to gain access to the Passport Office.

General information:

The London Office provides a standard ten (10) day working day service for correctly completed applications, a three (3) day working day urgent service for correctly completed applications, and an emergency call-out service for extreme situations. However, this does incur a callout fee.

Please note, clients are strongly advised not to confirm travel arrangements until they have received their passports.

Application forms for a New Zealand passport can be downloaded from the Department of Internal Affairs website.  Alternatively, send an e-mail requesting an application form to London@dia.govt.nz. Applications for adult passport renewals can also be done online at this link if you have a RealMe login.

Payment

The Passport Office only accepts debit and credit cards.

We strongly recommend you confirm fees with the London Passport office before completing your application.
