Te Kohanga Reo o Ranana
Te Kohanga Reo o Ranana was set up by a very dedicated and committed group of parents who were fighting to give their tamariki (children) what they considered a vital but missing part of their children’s upbringing; their reo (Maori language), their tikanga (customs) – their identity. Being so far away from whanau (family) and home, these parents wanted to be able to give this to their tamariki no matter how small the input might be.
Whilst Te Reo and Tikanga Maori are paramount, Kohanga also offers tautoko, aroha and tumanako to each and every member of the whanau making it a whole lot easier to raise a family so far from home.

Pacific Islands Society
The Pacific Islands Society, a non-profit organisation, was formed in 1981 to preserve the long-standing friendship between Britain/Ireland and the Pacific Islands in practical ways after decolonisation. The UK-based society covers the Pacific basin, and acts as an umbrella organisation linking national groups in Britain. Its objectives include bringing people with Islands background together through social gatherings, helping them to preserve their traditions through cultural activities, and generally attempting to raise the Pacific profile in the UK with conferences and discussions.
Assistance is offered to Island visitors, notably students, through a network of members (area representatives) around the country. The society also supports the advocacy of Pacific interests and concerns by providing a platform, and a welcome, for visiting regional leaders. The society publishes a news letter, The Outrigger, and runs a website.

In the sixty years since the club was formed in London in 1952, many hundreds of people have worn the LNZCC crest around the UK at wonderful grounds and in the company of some illustrious cricketing names. LNZCC has continued with its founding principle of "enjoying cricket in good company". Our aim is to attract cricket-minded New Zealanders living and working in the UK and it is pleasing to see an average of 75 players turning out for the club each season.
