Lost and found office Paris

Property recovered in Paris is centralised and stored for a limited time at the Bureau des Objets Trouvés (Lost & Found Office), 36 rue des Morillons, 75015 Paris. Opening hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. The nearest Metro stop is Convention on line 12.

There are several ways to report lost property or to find out if your lost/stolen property has been handed in:

  • complete the online declaration(external link) form on the Paris Prefecture de Police website (in English)
  • telephone the Lost & Found office on 3430 during opening hours
  • go to the Lost & Found Office in person during opening hours.
