New Zealand’s Report On Domestic Implementation of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) sets out New Zealand’s strong record of domestic implementation and promotion of IHL.
It seeks to provide an accessible record of New Zealand’s implementation of IHL to anyone with an interest in IHL matters – including the general public, non-governmental organisations, IHL practitioners, government officials, parliamentarians, academics, and journalists.
It is intended to help improve understanding of IHL and encourage dialogue on the topic, and to build a culture of respect for this body of international law.
