Katja Ackerley

Katja is a career diplomat with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT). She is a fluent Chinese speaker.
Previous postings include Beijing, as First Secretary Trade and Economic, and Taiwan (Long Term Language Training).
In Wellington she has led teams in Pacific and Development Group, and in Trade and Economic Group.
Katja is of Māori descent and is mother to three children.
