Public submissions processes were held before launching negotiations (in September-October 2017), and again soon after launching negotiations (in March-April 2018). 34 submissions were received in total.
Public meetings and seminars
Negotiators have held specific Pacific Alliance outreach sessions in 2018, as well as taken part in broader engagement on New Zealand’s free trade agreement negotiating agenda. These events were published on this website and promoted across the ministry's social media channels, and stakeholders invited via email.
