بھوکوں کو کھانا کھلانے اور اپنے واقفوں کے ساتھ ساتھ انجانے لوگوں کو بھی سلامتی کا پیغام دیتے ہوۓ ملنے کے بارے میں حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے الفاظ بالکل درست ہیں۔

We meet under the most appalling of circumstances. And to discuss how to respond to the sickening terrorist attack that took place in New Zealand one week ago today.
ہماری ملاقات نہایت افسوسناک حالات میں ہو رہی ہے۔ ہماری ملاقات کا مقصد اس بارے میں بات چیت کرنا ہے کہ نیوزی لینڈ میں ایک ہفتہ پہلے، اسی دن، ہونے والے قابل نفرت دہشت گرد حملے کا ردعمل کیا ہونا چاہیۓ۔
A day that changed our country – a day when a coward not from New Zealand attempted to terrorise us and tear us apart.
یہ وہ دن تھا جس نے ہمارے ملک کو بدل دیا – وہ دن جب ایک بزدل شخص نے، جو نیوزی لینڈ سے نہیں تھا، ہمیں دہشت کا نشانہ بنانے اور ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کرنے کی کوشش کی۔
Last Friday in Christchurch, New Zealand, at worship on their holy day within the sanctuary of the mosque, our Muslims were attacked in an utterly callous and cowardly act of terrorism.
پچھلے جمعے کو کرائسٹ چرچ، نیوزی لینڈ میں ہمارے مسلمانوں پر انکے مبارک دن پر، انکی مسجد کی مقدس فضا میں، دہشت گردی کا انتہائی سنگدلانہ اور بزدلانہ حملہ کیا گیا۔
Fifty people were murdered. Fifty more were wounded. Many are still hospitalised.
پچاس افراد کو قتل کر دیا گيا۔ مزید پچاس افراد زخمی ہوۓ۔ بہت سے لوگ اب بھی ہسپتال میں ہیں۔
The Police response was instantaneous.
پولیس نے فوری طور پر کارروائی کی۔
The first police officers arrived at the scene of the attack within just 5 minutes, and within 21 minutes, the terrorist was arrested.
اولّین پولیس افسران صرف 5 منٹ کے اندر وقوعے پر پہنچ گئے، اور 21 منٹ کے اندر دہشت گرد کو گرفتار کر لیا گيا۔
From here, this person will face the full force of New Zealand law.
اور آگے، یہ شخص نیوزی لینڈ کے قانون کی بھرپور گرفت میں آۓ گا۔
He will spend the rest of his life in isolation in a New Zealand prison.
وہ اپنی باقی ساری زندگی نیوزی لینڈ کی ایک جیل میں تنہائی میں گزارے گا۔
To ensure no stone is left unturned in his prosecution, our police have started mounting the largest investigation in our history in New Zealand.

This was an attack that affected Muslims most directly.
یہ ایک ایسا حملہ تھا جس نے مسلمانوں کو براہ راست متاثر کیا۔
Innocent people who were killed as they practised their religion.
بے گناہ لوگ جو اپنے دین پر عمل کرتے ہوۓ ہلاک کیے گئے۔
In a country that practices religious tolerance, an attack on one of us, observing their beliefs, is an attack on all of us.
مذہبی رواداری پر عمل پیرا اس ملک میں ہم میں سے کسی ایک پر اپنے دین کی پیروی کرتے ہوۓ حملہ، ہم سب پر حملہ ہے۔
New Zealanders across the length and breadth of our nation feel a profound sense of grief and loss.
نیوزی لینڈ میں ہر جگہ، ہماری قوم کا ہر فرد گہرا صدمہ اور دکھ محسوس کر رہا ہے۔
Millions have embraced their Muslim neighbours.
لاکھوں لوگوں نے اپنے مسلمان ہمسایوں کو گلے لگایا ہے۔
They have laid flowers at mosques up and down the country.
انہوں نے ملک کے چپے چپے میں مساجد کے باہر پھول رکھے ہیں۔
They have stood watch in all of our main cities.
وہ ہمارے تمام بڑے شہروں میں پہرے پر کھڑے رہے ہیں۔
And they have given money in aid of the victims – well over ten million dollars in a few short days have been donated by New Zealanders to their families.

As a nation, we have and will pay respect to the dead, the maimed and the bereaved.
ایک قوم کی حیثیت سے ہم نے مرحومین، زخمیوں اور سوگواروں کے لیے اظہار افسوس کیا ہے اور کریں گے۔
Together with our Prime Minister and leaders of our other political parties, we have been in Christchurch mourning with the families.
اپنی وزیر اعظم اور ہماری دوسری سیاسی جماعتوں کے رہنماؤں کے ساتھ مل کر ہم کرائسٹ چرچ میں ان گھرانوں کے ساتھ سوگ میں شریک ہوۓ ہیں۔
It was there that we were grateful to receive the visit of the Turkish Vice-President, His Excellency Mr Fuat Oktay and our Chairman today, Mr Çavuşoğlu, to pay their respects to the victims’ families.
وہیں پر ہمیں ترکی کے نائب صدر عزت مآب Fuat Oktay اور آج کے اجلاس کے چیئرمین جناب Çavuşoğlu کی آمد کا شرف حاصل ہوا جو متاثرین کے گھرانوں سے افسوس کرنے آۓ تھے۔

Our Parliament convened earlier this week to mourn.
ہماری پارلیمنٹ نے اس ہفتے کے آغاز میں تعزیتی اجلاس منعقد کیا۔
This is the most ethnically diverse Parliament in New Zealand’s history and it opened for the first time with an Islamic prayer in the presence of several Imams and representatives of many other faiths.

This time next week, we will have a national memorial service.
اگلے ہفتے اس وقت پر، ہم قومی میموریل سروس کریں گے۔
We hope many at this forum will be represented.
ہم امید کرتے ہیں کہ اس فورم کے حاضرین میں سے کئی کے نمائندے شریک ہوں گے۔
None of this, of course, could ever be an adequate expression of our national grief.

Ensuring Muslim communities in New Zealand feel safe and secure is a particular focus.
ہماری خاص توجہ اس امر پر ہے کہ نیوزی لینڈ کی مسلمان کمیونٹیاں محفوظ محسوس کریں۔
Police stand guard outside all mosques to ensure people can pray in peace. And there is an elevated police presence throughout the country.
تمام مسجدوں کے باہر پولیس پہرہ دے رہی ہے تاکہ لوگ امن سے نماز ادا کر سکیں۔ اور پورے ملک میں پولیس کی موجودگی بڑھا دی گئی ہے۔
New strict gun control measures have already been announced.
ہتھیاروں پر پابندی کے نئے زیادہ سخت اقدامات کا اعلان پہلے ہی ہو چکا ہے۔
We will confront the way social media is used to spread vile hatred. For extremism has no race, religion or colour.
ہم شرمناک نفرت پھیلانے کے لیے سوشل میڈیا کے استعمال کی مخالفت کریں گے۔ کیونکہ انتہا پسندی کی کوئی نسل، کوئی مذہب، یا کوئی رنگ نہیں ہوتا۔
It must be condemned, whatever form it takes.
انتہا پسندی جس روپ میں بھی سامنے آۓ، اس کی مذمّت کرنا لازم ہے۔
A full inquiry will be conducted to help to do everything we can to stop such a senseless attack in the future.
مستقبل میں ایسے جنونی حملے کو روکنے کی خاطر ہر ممکن قدم اٹھانے کے لیے مکمل انکوائری انجام دی جاۓ گی۔
Whenever and wherever a terrorist strikes, the aim is to provoke fear and panic. In New Zealand, it has failed.
جب بھی اور جہاں کہیں بھی کوئی دہشت گرد وار کرتا ہے، اسکا مقصد خوف اور گھبراہٹ پھیلانا ہوتا ہے۔ نیوزی لینڈ میں یہ مقصد پورا نہیں ہوا۔
It failed because our thoughts are not the terrorist’s thoughts, and his extremist ways are not our ways.
یہ مقصد اس لیے پورا نہیں ہوا کہ ہمارے خیالات دہشت گرد کے خیالات نہیں ہیں، اور اسکا انتہا پسندی کا طرزعمل ہمارا طرزعمل نہیں ہے۔
And to be clear, in New Zealand hate speech is not tolerated.
اور واضح رہے کہ نیوزی لینڈ میں نفرت انگیز بیانات کو برداشت نہیں کیا جاتا۔
While everything else may have changed in our country on 15 March, New Zealand’s essential character has not and will not.
اگرچہ ممکن ہے 15 مارچ کو ہمارے ملک میں اور سب کچھ بدل گيا ہو، نیوزی لینڈ کا بنیادی کردار نہیں بدلا ہے اور نہ بدلے گا۔
New Zealand is and will remain a safe and open society. A place where our international visitors feel comfortable and secure.

We are a compassionate, tolerant people. This horrific attack cannot shake those core values, because this is who New Zealanders are.
ہم رحمدل اور روادار لوگ ہیں۔ یہ بھیانک حملہ ہماری ان بنیادی اقدار کو متزلزل نہیں کر سکتا کیونکہ ہم نیوزی لینڈ کے لوگ ایسے ہی ہیں۔
We have been overwhelmed by messages of sympathy, of support and of solidarity that have come from our friends all across the world.
دنیا بھر میں اپنے دوستوں کی جانب سے ملنے والے ہمدردی، حمایت اور اتحاد کے پیغامات سے ہم بے حد متاثر ہوۓ ہیں۔
We have been humbled to have the global Muslim community stand with us in our bleakest hour.
ہماری تاریخ کے اس تاریک ترین وقت میں جس طرح عالمی مسلمان برادری ہمارے ساتھ کھڑی ہوئی ہے، اس نے ہمارے دلوں میں انکسار بھر دیا ہے۔
Today, tomorrow and into the future, let us continue to stand together in stamping out the hate-filled ideologies that led to last Friday’s terrible tragedy.
آئیے، ہم آج، کل اور مستقبل میں، شانہ بشانہ کھڑے ہوتے رہیں اور نفرت سے بھرے نظریات کو کچل دیں جن کے سبب پچھلے جمعے کا بھیانک المیہ ہوا۔
Out of despair, let us work with a renewed vigour to spread tolerance, compassion and understanding.
آئیے، دل شکستگی کو جھٹک کر، ہم ایک نئے حوصلے کے ساتھ رواداری، رحمدلی اور افہام و تفہیم کو پھیلانے کے لیے کام کریں گے۔
