Our relationship with Moldova
The visit by the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy the Jim Bolger in April 2014 was the first high level visitor from New Zealand since the establishment of the accreditation. Most of the engagement between our two countries occurs in the multilateral context, in particular the United Nations, where we both share similar positions on issues such as nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
Moldovans and New Zealanders also share a love for rugby with the All Blacks being well-known in Moldova.
