Public submissions
Up until 31 July 2019, we asked for New Zealanders’ views on our upgrade negotiations for AANZFTA. We called for further information on how the existing agreement is being utilised, and how it can be modernised.
We received 21 submissions from industry organisations, business groups, civil society, and private citizens. There was strong support for the upgrade, recognising the importance of the ASEAN market.
