New Zealand Embassy Driver/Administration Assistant

The New Zealand Embassy in Seoul is an office of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Our people represent New Zealand on and offshore, and in doing so make New Zealanders safer and more prosperous.
We are seeking a Driver / Administration Assistant to be responsible for the driving and administrative duties. This is a part time regular position (25 hours a week) and the ideal candidate will be available to commence duties on 21 April or as soon as practicable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe and punctual driving services to all passengers, including assisting with luggage etc.
- Maintain the post’s vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are clean and safe to drive at all times.
- Undertake messenger and delivery services as required.
- Assist with the arrangements and organisation of functions, meetings, presentations, conferences.
- Assist with the property-related administration to help ensure the efficient and smooth running of the Embassy.
- Undertake additional duties and after-hours duties as required.
Job Requirements
- A current, clean driver’s licence holder with professional driving experience
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure.
- Written and oral communication skills (in both English and Korean).
- Ability to perform proactive maintenance and supervise external maintenance work.
- Openness, honesty, integrity, prudence, flexibility, and good communication skills

New Zealand Embassy Official Residence Cleaner
The New Zealand Embassy in Seoul is an office of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Our people represent New Zealand on and offshore, and in doing so make New Zealanders safer and more prosperous.
We are seeking to hire an active and skilful cleaner to work in the New Zealand Official Residence. The position is expected to start around June 1, 2025 but it is negotiable, and will be a two-year fixed-term position, followed by a review and then a full-time position. (4 social insurance, paid annual leave, and severance pay are available)
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the New Zealand Official Residence
- Overall household management
- Assists with official functions, event logistics and provision of services for events held at the Residence (waiter duties, kitchen help, and dishwashing duties)
- Undertaking other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Communication skills in Korean and English
- Experience serving as a cleaner and with proven ability to oversee and ensure the overall upkeep of a major Residence
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to and work within a team
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Well developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure
- Strong customer focus, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
- Ability to work autonomously and within guidelines, demonstrating the use of sound judgement
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, including adaptability and openness to change
- Displays personal integrity and an honest and ethical approach.
